rnd 1: with a, work in 5th ch from hook, 11dc (ch5 acts as 1dc), *skip
2dc, 3dc in next st(shell) rep from * till last 3 sts, skip 2dc, work 12dc in
last st.
work cont on opposite side of ch, do not turn, work 3dc shell in same st as
shell on opposite side of ch. join w/slst to 3rd ch of beg ch
rnd 2: ch3, work 1dc between dc of rnd 1, 2dc bet. each dc 11 times,
*1dc in next sp, 1dc bet. ea dc of ea shell across,
end 1dc in sp*, 2 dc bet. ea dc 11 times, rep from *'s, join w/slst. fasten
off
rnd 3:with b from wrong side, work 1hdc around entire strip. fasten off
Work 9 more strips
Finishing: Place a marker in center of fan. count over 7dc on each
side of marker, place a marker on each side of center. rep on all strips. place
stright right side to right side.
With a long length of B in a large eye needle, work from marker to marker catching
one lp from each side. sew in a loose and even overhand stitch. Fasten off
