#10 crochet thread and a size 7 hook should work fine
Unusual Stitches: PUFF STITCH - (4 tr half closed and joined tog) in same space. PICOT - ch 2, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 2, sl st in same ch as lst hdc made.
Note: always start with ch 3 instead of first dc or ch 4 instead of first tr of rnd. End with 1 sl st in first sc, third (dc) or fouth (tr) ch at beg of round.
Snowflake A: CH 7 and close into a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
rnd 1: *3 dc in ring, ch 3* rep from * to * 5 times.
rnd 2: ch 1, *sc in next 3 dc, 2 sc in space, ch 2, picot, ch 2, picot, cht 2, 5 picots, cht 2, sl st in 4th ch from hook forming a ring with last 5 picots ** picot, sl st in base of opposite picot, sl st in next 2 ch, ** rep from ** to ** once, 2 sc in same ch 3 sp of rnd 1 * rep from * to * 5 times. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Snowflake B: ch 7 and close into a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
Rnd 1: * Puff st in ring, ch 20 * rep from * to * 5 times.
Rnd 2: ch 1 * 13 sc in same look * rep from * to * 5 times. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Snowflake C: Ch 7 and close into ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
RND 1: * 3 dc in ring, ch 3 * rep from * to * 5 times.
RND 2: with sl st get to first space, * (3 dc, ch 8 3 dc) in space, ch 1 * rep from * to * around.
RND 3: Do not ch 3 instead of first dc * (4dc, picot, ch 2, 2 sc, ch 3, 5 picots, sl st in base of first of these 5 picots to form a circle, sl st in next 3 ch, 2 sc, ch 2, picot, 4dc) in ch-8 loop, sl st in ch1 sp * rep from * to * 5 times. Fasten off. Weave in end
